Kingswinford Academy in Dudley is celebrating its latest Ofsted report after inspectors found the school continues to be a 鈥楪ood鈥 school. The Section 8, ungraded inspection, took place as part of Ofsted鈥檚 commitment to visiting 鈥楪ood鈥 and 鈥極utstanding鈥 schools to ensure they continue meeting their students鈥 needs.
During the inspection, which took place on 10th and 11th July 2024, Ofsted found that leaders at Kingswinford Academy continue to set high standards for students鈥 work and behaviour, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), while offering a broad and ambitious curriculum.
Inspectors praised the calm and purposeful atmosphere in classrooms and corridors and noted the positive relationships students have with their teachers. Students feel safe, attend well and know who they can turn to if they need support. Engagement in lessons is good and students collaborate well and work hard.
